Animations: Photos

Song slides

  1. Add Animation: select the picture and add the Shape animation.
  2. Effect options: change direction to 'Out'

Your Picture animation should be last in the list.

Click on Preview. It should be like this: 

  1. Title/singer = Bounces, by letter
  2. Song name  = Floats In, by letter
  3. Picture = Shape, out

Do the same on all the song slides...



First List slide (#2)

add animation

Go to the first list slide (Movies) and select all the pictures:

  1. first click on one picture,
  2. hold SHIFT and
  3. click on the other pictures 

Then add a green animation. They should all get a number square beside them (#5) ...

with previous

Change the first picture which has a mouse icon (= "On Click") to Start "With Previous".
There should be no mouse icon beside any pictures.


picture order

  1. Picture #1: Click on the picture for bullet #1 on the slide. 
    Move the animation to be under that bullet's animation.
  2. Picture #2: Click on the picture for bullet #2 on the slide.
    Move the animation to be under that bullet's animation.
  3. Picture #3: you don't have to do anything to it; the last picture automatically comes in after the last bullet (the grey bar doesn't matter). 
  • On the slide they will have the same numbers.
  • In the Animation Pane, each picture will be after the matching bullet in the list. 

Test your slide, make sure you have the pictures with the matching bullets. Either:

  • Preview: on the toolbar, click on this button
  • Animation Pane: have nothing selected in the animation list and Play All

Other list slides

On the other list slides, do the same steps:

  1. Add animation: select all the pictures and add a green animation
  2. Start: change first picture to With Previous
  3. Order: move picture animations up for the first 2 pictures under the matching bullets.

If you've done it correctly, your animation lists on the other list slides should look like this, following the pattern below...

Preview your slides to make sure the pictures come in with the right bullets.

Keep your Animation Pane open and get all your animations checked.
