Animations: text

Slide Master

Go into Slide Master (Under View tab). 

Go to the top layout.

Titles

Click anywhere in the title box...

Go to the Animations tab and choose Bounce

Open the Animation Pane... you should see it open on the right.

  1. Right-click on the animation and choose Effect options...
  2. In the window that pops up, change Animate text from "All together" to "By letter".

Lists

Now click anywhere in the text/list box and add Float In animation.

In the Animation Pane, double-click on the Text animation and change Effects to come in "By Letter".


If you click on Preview, it should look like this...


Get this checked before continuing on...


Copy Effects to slides

Now go back to Normal View using the button on the bottom right of your window...

slide #1

Go to Slide #1. 

Right-click on either Master animation and Copy Effects to Slide...
you will then see #1 and #2 beside the text boxes on your slide.


Right-click on either animation and Hide Advanced Timeline. You should then see a mouse icon beside each animation.


list slides (#2-6)

  1. Right-click on any animation and Copy Effects to Slide
  2. Expand the list (click on grey bar)

You will see numbers 1-4 on your slide and each bullet's animation in the list.


On the other list slides do the same steps:

  1. Right-click on any animation and Copy Effects to Slide
  2. Expand the list (click on grey bar)

song slides (#7-11)

Copy Effects to Slide for each song slide.

You will see #1 beside the Title/singer box and #2 beside the song name.
